Stephen McGowan returned home to South Africa not too long ago after almost six years in captivity. He had been abducted by al-Qaeda militants from a Timbuktu hotel in Mali. McGowan said after so many ups and downs, over the last five and a half years, he was not sure who he can believe and who he can’t believe. He said, he even got tired of believing. However, though he doubted he would ever be free, he is a free man today. Perhaps your situation looks hopeless like Stephen’s who saw his German tourist-friend killed, you can still choose hope. Be a prisoner of hope and strong belief in God because with Him all things are possible. Jesus Christ showed that It’s never too late for Him to give us a miracle when he resurrected someone that had been dead for four days. However, like two officials in my place of work, who had started working on my request even though they didn’t reply the two emails I sent, we may sometimes feel that God is not answering our prayers when in fact, He is working on it and also working on us. So hold on, help is on the way.
