Charlie Fry, a 25-year-old Briton was surfing on Monday the 13th of November, 2017 with three others at Avoca Beach in New South Wales State, north of Sydney, Australia when a shark jumped out of the water and hit him in the right shoulder. However, Charlie fought back. He punched it in the face and he was able to surf back with his friends. He escaped with minor injury. Charlie later said “It could have easily taken my hand. I count myself very lucky.” Obviously, Charlie was favored but imagine if he didn’t fight back. Most likely, we won’t be attacked by a shark but our confrontation or attack as believers will definitely come from the devil directly or indirectly. Such attack may be subtle or direct but which ever one it is, fighting back with wisdom and worship is the best option. An example of a subtle attack is being denied of what belongs to you or if someone is negative towards you either in what they do or what they say. But you can respond with brilliant assertiveness handling every negativity and opposition with confidence and ease. And when coupled with worship – praising God, praying, standing on His promises and confessing His Word – the situation will definitely turn out in your favour.
