You can outfight your bigger opponent(s)

I recently watched a video of how an astute mongoose outwits a group of lions. He was not match for them however he survived. The three young lions that corned a mongoose in Africa probably thought it was an easy snack but the little fighter quickly turned the tables on them because he was determined not become their lunch or snack. Just because the opponents are stronger than you, doesn’t mean you can’t out fight, outwit and outlast them. You may be small, but when God is for you and in you, you can overcome a bigger opposition. That was what Moses was trying to tell the Israelites in the Scripture when he said: “When you go to war against your enemy and see horses and chariots and soldiers far outnumbering you, do not recoil in fear of them…Don’t waver in resolve. Don’t fear. Don’t hesitate. Don’t panic. GOD, your God, is right there with you, fighting with you against your enemies, fighting to win.” We only need to worship (God) and watch. We worship because God inhabits our worship and we watch so we can be alert to resist the enemy, who is poised to pounce and eager to catch us napping.

“… You have already won a big victory over them, for the Spirit in you is far stronger than anything in the world.” ~ Scripture
