Can we say that we know Christ more today than we did yesterday? Our foremost desire should be to grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, daily.

We can never fully know Christ, but we can grow in our knowledge of him through studying his Word, praying to him, and spending time in his presence. As we do these things, we will come to know him more intimately and love him more deeply.

Our knowledge of Christ should not be static. It should be dynamic and growing. We should always be striving to learn more about him and to grow closer to him.

When we grow in our knowledge of Christ, we also grow in grace. Grace is the unmerited favor of God. It is his love and acceptance of us, even though we do not deserve it. As we grow in grace, we become more like Christ and more capable of loving others.

Growing in grace and knowledge of Christ is a lifelong journey. It is a journey that is filled with joy, peace, and hope. It is a journey that is worth taking.

Tosin ‘Badeniyi, a Professor at the Department of Biotechnology and Food Science at Durban University of Technology, South Africa, holds a doctoral degree in Food Science from University of Pretoria South Africa.
