Jabez’s story has taught me that, like Daniel praying in the corner of his room, I too can confidently converse with God. I don’t need a mountain or a prophet; I can speak to God personally because, as a believer, I am also a priest. If God answered Jabez in the old covenant, there’s assurance that He will respond to my prayers. Trusting that He hears my requests when I pray in Jesus’ name, aligned with His will, I simply await the manifestation. If you’ve embraced Christ, approach Him boldly in prayer—He will answer.
