For a child of God to mistrust his Father’s love, truth, and faithfulness must be greatly displeasing to the Lord. How could we ever doubt His upholding grace? Christ Himself said, “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.” (John 10:28).

If His love could fail, these promises would be false. God could no longer claim to be true, honorable, all-powerful, gracious, and promise keeping if any of those for whom Christ has died and who have put their trust in Him should be cast away.

Banish those doubting fears that dishonor God. Get up, shake off the dust, and put on your beautiful garments of faith. Let the eternal life within you express itself in constant rejoicing.
