The Master Teacher said 2,000 years ago, “Unless you become like little children, your chances of entering the kingdom of heaven are zero.” He used a child to help his disciples who were preoccupied with position and arguing over petty issues. Just like the disciples, we also need to always remember to be childlike, with humble and sincere hearts. Other ways we can be more like children no matter how old we get include;
· Curiosity. We should embrace childish curiosity and never stop questioning like kids do. Kids ask millions of questions and use their curiosity to learn and grow.
· Trust. Children are trusting by nature. They trust adults easily. We too should learn to trust our Father in Heaven because trust overcomes fear, depression, hate and every arrow of the Devil.
· Excitement. We should learn to get excited like children. “There is nothing that has more magic than childish excitement. So excited that you hate to go to bed at night…that you can’t wait to get up in the morning.” Be excited about life, family, work and making a difference.
Humility, sincerity, curiosity, trust and excitement are powerful combination to make part of our lives.
“Learn to get excited like a child. There is nothing that has more magic than childish excitement.” Jim Rohn
