Nigerian Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola recently gave her daughter £5,000,000 house for her 30th birthday. Femi told her daughter that he could not think of a befitting present because she has always made him proud. Perhaps you are like me that doesn’t have an earthly Father that can give the type of gift Femi gave her daughter and you are also a Christian, I like to remind you that you have (in heaven) a better and lasting possession (Ref: Hebrews 10:34. AB). Paul once wrote, “If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men” i.e., if there is no life after death, no Heaven, no promise of a better world – then life is empty, hopeless, without meaning or purpose. But this life is not all! Ahead is Heaven, and some day “we shall always be with the Lord (1 Thess. 4:17). Some day we will go to a home where all is happiness, joy and peace. Knowing Heaven is real, should make a difference in the way we live. We should endeavour not to become attach to the things of this world rather we should have a burden for those who do not have the hope of heaven. We should tell them about Christ! Will you tell someone about Christ today?
“In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.” Jesus Christ
