Paul’s intentions often met unexpected twists.
He had hoped to preach in Asia Minor, but the Holy Spirit directed otherwise. While aiming to educate new converts in Philippi, Paul and his companion faced imprisonment instead. Even in Thessalonica, where the Gospel had a promising response, Paul encountered a hostile mob. Despite these challenges, it’s crucial to remember that God was always in control.
When Paul couldn’t preach in Asia Minor, it was because God was leading him to Europe. His time in jail led to the conversion of the Philippian jailer and his family. Fleeing Thessalonica brought the message to Berea, where it was received eagerly.
Life doesn’t always follow our plans, but when we entrust our path to Christ and follow His guidance, we discover that His plans are consistently superior.
