Twitter founder recently sold the Non Fungible Token (NFT) of his first tweet (just setting up my twttr) for $2.5million. He plans to convert the proceeds to Bitcoin after which he will send it to GiveDirectly.org, an organization that gives cash directly to families in extreme poverty in Africa. The organization also funds needy households in United States. As at of 26th of March, GiveDirectly has funded 731,000 people and $308.4 million has been donated. We may not have an NFT to sell so that we can give the proceeds however, we all have God-given gifts we can share with others. God has given us amazing gifts such being able to teach, write, lead, encourage and serve. We can give a hug, a smile, a counsel, a kind word or a helping hand. We can also share our food with the hungry or give a cup of cold water to a thirsty fellow just like our Lord said in the Scripture. This week, think of something you can give especially to people that can’t or won’t return the favour. Then gladly do it.
