I recently had a conversation with one of our night security guards after seeing him with a stick (we call it Kondo in Nigeria) engrafted with 6 or 7 long nails- The sharp ends facing my direction. I asked him what he does with it. He said he uses it to defend himself against thieves. “I can take down two thieves that try to attack with knives.” He said. I asked what if they have a gun, what would he do? He couldn’t answer my question well…But thanks be to God, it is Him that has been watching over us since we have been living in the estate, we have never experienced a break in or a robbery attack. We are all in a battle. Whether with a hater or someone pretending to be a friend but says bad things behind our back. However our real battle is with the unseen forces. Scripture says, we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Should we therefore be afraid. Absolutely Not. We only need to ensure that we continue to abide in Christ. With Christ’s help we can do all things including overcoming all our enemies. Also, let’s understand or remember, that, it is through our Lord Jesus Christ the unseen forces were created. He has all the power to deal with them.

When I initially commented I clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now each time a remark is added I get four emails with the same comment. Is there any way you can take away me from that service? Thanks!
