God’s children

God’s children

While contemplating the verse John 11:52, which states, “and not for the nation only, but also to gather into one the children of God who are scattered abroad,” I reflected on the parallel between God’s angels and God’s children. While we cannot determine the exact proportion of humanity chosen to be God’s children, it is plausible that their numbers exceed those aligned with the Devil, much like the greater number of God’s angels compared to the Devil’s angels.

This comparison invites us to ponder the idea that God’s grace and redemptive love extend to a wide range of individuals scattered across the world. Just as God’s angels serve as messengers and agents of His divine will, God’s children are called to embody His teachings, love, and righteousness. They play an integral role in the fulfillment of God’s plan, contributing to the unity and harmony of His creation.

However, it is important to approach this concept with humility and recognize that our understanding is limited. We should avoid making definitive assertions about the exact distribution of God’s children or the Devil’s followers. The intention here is to encourage a contemplation of the vastness and inclusivity of God’s love, rather than engaging in speculation or drawing rigid conclusions.

Ultimately, it is crucial for individuals to seek a personal relationship with God, strive for righteousness, and embody the values that align with His teachings. This inner transformation and alignment with God’s will allow us to play our part in bringing unity, love, and compassion to the world, regardless of the specific dynamics between God’s children and those influenced by the Devil.
