Importance of self-reflection

I recently sat down with Dr. Niran Ojomo to discuss the importance of self-reflection as well as improving our mental health. Below are some of the questions I asked him. Find time to watch and listen to this intelligent friend of mine.

How is self-reflection important for continuous improvement? How can we cultivate self-reflection? What is growth plan and how can we create one? What are the tips to improve our mental health and build resilience in 2023?

Niran (Larinde) Ojomo is a trusted advisor, coach, speaker and trainer certified with the Maxwell Leadership Team.  He is currently focusing on the science and art of well-being, resilience, human performance and longevity. Niran is constantly learning strategies and tactics to improve resilience and well-being, and optimize physical and emotional health. He is the founder of Forward-Thinking Generation Next (www.niranojomomdservies.com), a forward thinking organization that challenges individuals and organizations to re-invent themselves, anticipate and adapt to the future and be culturally relevant in an increasingly complex globalized world.  Niran obtained his medical degree from Obafemi Awolowo University School of Medicine. After that, he completed his psychiatry training at the Maudsley Hospital, in England. He is well rounded with special interests in neuropsychiatry, psychotherapy, addiction psychiatry, and preventative psychiatry. He has completed the NHS Leadership Academy and Resilient Leadership at the Harvard Business School. In 2021, at the height of the COVID pandemic in the United Kingdom, his team was awarded NHS COVID Resilient Award.

He is a global citizen of the World. He currently lives in Canada with his wife and two active children that mean that he spends much of his time exhausted and slightly crumpled. He is actively engaged with his community.
