My friend, Dr Niran Olarinde Ojomo recently wished me mindfulness weekend and shared an image of what cognitive capacity entails along with its health benefits. Thinking about the image and his message, I ‘connected’ that that it is impossible to have cognitive capacity without mindfulness. Cognitive capacity involves focus & attention, memory, productivity and creativity innovation. Its health benefits include: stronger immune system, decreased stress, lower cortisol and better sleep. So what is mindfulness. According to Mayo Clinic, “Mindfulness is a type of meditation in which you focus on being intensely aware of what you’re sensing and feeling in the moment, without interpretation or judgment. Practicing mindfulness involves breathing methods, guided imagery, and other practices to relax the body and mind and help reduce stress.”
Here is more information about my friend. Niran is a trusted advisor, wellness coach, business consultant and preventative psychiatrist. He is interested in the fields of preventative mental health, resilience, health span, life span and longevity. He is continually learning strategies and tactics to improve resilience, well-being, and optimise cognitive, physical and emotional health. He has received NHS COVID Resilient Team Award. Niran is also fond of asking questions that make me do some serious thinking. Below are his last two questions to me.
1. What steps do you need to take today to take your game to the next level?
2. Does new learning delay cognitive decline or reverse cognitive decline?

Absolutely
This design is spectacular! You obviously know how to keep a reader entertained. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Wonderful job. I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
