I am pleased to write this letter to kindly request prompt attention to Dr. Ekundayo Temitope Cyrus’s (Passport Number: XXXXXXXXX) application for a Canadian visa. He is representing our research team at the forthcoming International Association for Food Protection (IAFP) 2023 Meeting, to be held at The Metro Toronto Convention Centre– 715 in Toronto, Ontario Canada from July 16 to 20, 2023. International Conference presentation is one of the outputs required by the funder of current researcher that is going to be ending this year. We hope to justify this aspect by presenting our research at forthcoming IAFP conference.
Dr. Ekundayo will be presenting the following accepted abstracts at IAFP conference:
i. Ekundayo, T.C.; and Ijabadeniyi O.A. (2023). Salmonella Public Health Challenge and Its Near-Zero Detection Paradox in Low-Water Activity Food: A Linear Mixed Effects Modelling of 9656 Flours.
ii. Ekundayo, T.C.; Adewoyin, M.A. Ijabadeniyi O.A.; and Okoh, A.I. (2023). Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGB) and Random Forest (RF) Guided Machine Learning Prediction of Acinetobacter Density in Fresh Produce Irrigation Source Waters.
iii. Ndokweni, L.T.; Ekundayo, T.C.; and Ijabadeniyi O.A. (2023). Reduction of Listeria monocytogenes and Escherichia coli O157:H7 on Lettuce (Lactuca sativa) and Cucumber (Cucumis sativus) by Hot Water and Vinegar Treatment.
Dr. Ekundayo has previously visited China (2018) and Germany (2019) for the underlisted events:
i. Synthetic Biotechnology Training Course for Developing Countries, jointly 1st TWAS Symposium on Plant Natural Product Synthesis by Microbes held at CAS-TWAS Centre of Excellence for Biotechnology (CoEBio), Institute of Microbiology Chinese Academy of Sciences, No. 1 Beichen West Road, Chaoyag District, Beijing 100101; 15-19, January 2018.
