Our ultimate priority

Our ultimate priority

Our ultimate and first priority shouldn’t be our health, job, money, not even family rather it should be God and His Kingdom. We should be heavenly minded. Heavenly mindedness is all about thinking about the City of God and praying for righteousness, joy and peace to reign on earth. Scripture reveals to us a heavenly city whose builder and maker is God, where those who have been redeemed will be superior to angels. In the city, there is “a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and the Lamb.” The city and its main street are pure gold, as clear as glass.  R.C. Sproul once said “We need to know where we headed. That’s why it is important for you to be knowledgeable and cognizant of the destiny that God has for His people. Keep your eyes focused on the City of God. That is where we going. That’s where we are heading. If we understand that that is our destination, we won’t tend to get lost and roam all over the place. But we will stay in the way of Christ.” This year let’s keep our eyes on eternity and encourage one another to do the same.

Aim at heaven and you will get earth throw in. Aim at earth and you get neither.” C. S. Lewis

“By our nature, we are involved in the city of man, and only by God’s grace will we ever be involved in and devoted to the city of God.” Alistair Begg

  1. Unquestionably believe that which you stated. Your favorite reason seemed to be on the web the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly get annoyed while people think about worries that they plainly don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people could take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks

  2. Hey are using WordPress for your site platform? I’m new to the blog world but I’m trying to get started and create my own. Do you need any html coding expertise to make your own blog? Any help would be really appreciated!
