Last Christmas brought an uncommon sight to Minnesota—a non-white Christmas with no snow, a rare occurrence last observed in the 50s. While it might be easy to attribute this to climate change, the truth is, God remains in control, deciding the timing of snowfall. Interestingly, the snow arrived on the year’s final day. During my morning walk in the snow, I reflected on the Scripture: ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow…’ The beauty of the snow reminded me that only the blood of Jesus Christ can cleanse us. No matter the gravity of our sins, true repentance and turning to Christ bring forgiveness and righteousness. It’s a miracle available to everyone, just as seen in the redemption of the thief on the cross beside Christ. If you haven’t embraced Christ, consider doing so today; He offers forgiveness and eternal life.
