The sooner we recognize the ongoing struggle for power between the Kingdom of God and the forces of darkness, the better equipped we will be able to face it. Although Christ has already secured victory for the Kingdom of God, Satan, the ruler of the evil kingdom, relentlessly continues his fight against us. This spiritual battle is far from over, and it requires our active participation.
As followers of Christ, we are called to engage in this battle, not with fear or hesitation, but with the full confidence that comes from knowing our victory is assured. To stand firm against the enemy, we must put on the whole armor of God—truth, righteousness, faith, salvation, and the Word of God. These spiritual defenses are not merely symbolic; they are powerful tools given to us by the Lord to defeat Satan and his schemes.
We must remain vigilant, constantly aware that the enemy is always seeking to undermine our faith and lead us astray. But with the assurance of God’s power working through us, we can confidently resist the devil’s attacks, knowing that he has already been defeated by Christ. Our role is to stand firm in this victory, continually wrestling against the forces of evil with the strength and authority given to us by our Lord.
