Upon returning from the office this evening, the children in our complex greeted me warmly. The encounter triggered a fond memory of the chocolates stashed in my fridge. It occurred to me that I should share these treats with them. As I contemplated this idea, I was reminded of how my mother used to share the gospel with kids in our old neighborhood, generously offering them snacks like ‘treetop and biscuit’ afterwards.
Inspired by her example, I decided to take a different course of action before indulging in my chocolates. I shared the message of Jesus with the children and led them in a prayer to confess Christ as their Lord and Savior. Though they might not fully comprehend the prayer, I believe that planting these seeds of faith is essential. My hope is that these kids may eventually become part of the Kingdom of God, and it’s our responsibility to guide them towards Christ.
