Let’s go today to Bethlehem, along with the marveling shepherds and the adoring magi, and see the one born King of the Jews. Jesus is Yahweh incarnate, our Lord and our God.
Let us adore and admire Him. Let us bow in reverence before this holy Child, whose innocence restores glory to humanity. And let us pray that He will be formed in us, as “the hope of glory.”
Immanuel, this Jesus, is “God with us” in our nature, our sorrow, our work, our punishment, even our death. He brings us with Him in His resurrection, ascension, triumph, and glory.
