I recently began sharing stories of Africans making an impact through entrepreneurship and innovation. This week, my focus is on Dotun Jegede, a remarkable individual who exemplifies this spirit. Dotun holds a PhD and MA in Human Resource Management from Trinity University, Spain.
He is the co-founder of Dee Bee Consulting, DBC Academy, and DBC Job Search, and serves as a visiting consultant for several organizations specializing in organizational development. Dotun also holds leadership positions as Vice President and Country Director of the Organization Leadership & Development Network (OLDN), and he is a Global Advisory Board Member for the COLD-OLDN. His editorial work includes being a member of the Organization Leadership Development Quarterly (Journal). Dotun is also an active member of prominent professional associations such as the Africa Organization Development Association (AODA), the Human Capital Institute (USA), and the Japanese HR Society.
In addition to his professional achievements, Dotun is unapologetic about his faith, which he openly shares on social media. Having given his life to Christ in 1994, he has been deeply involved in ministry. In 2016, he was appointed District Pastor under the Deeper Life Bible Church in Remo North, and today he serves as an Associate Pastor and Sunday School Teacher at the Deeper Life Bible Church in Nigeria. He is a member of the Christian College Network, a platform for church leaders, and contributes regularly to Sermon Online, a U.S.-based platform for Christian writing and preaching. Dotun is also the founder of Christ and Christian Network, an online community focused on preparing professionals for the Rapture.
Dotun’s life is a powerful testament to how innovation, entrepreneurship, and faith can work together to drive success, no matter where you are.
